December 6, 2009-

Finally finished re-arranging the gallery again. It took quite awhile to fix, and there was some more waiting than usual to upload the changes, but I'm at least relieved that it's out of the way for now. I know there will eventually be other major changes I'm gonna make, but it'll be awhile before I can do them (thank you, college).

And now that this is done, I must draw!

November 16, 2009-

Check out my nifty new icon. I made it from one of the fanart works in the gallery. The original was drawn by Manticoress. Check her out.

Well, I've decided to update a little early. I wonder why? Might be because there's some changes to the gallery I want to make, again. Along with the addition of some concept sketches, I decided to seperate the doodles and drawings I did just for fun from the more serious works. It's mostly because I need to consider organizing this site to double as an online portfolio of my work, and the doodles and fun stuff are a little too distracting for that.

At the same time, I didn't want to get rid of them either, so I thought 'Hey, why not just move them to a group of their own so serious people can avoid them?'. I'm not really going to turn this site into a complete online portfolio. The entire site is still just a side project I'm doing for fun, so it'll be more of an informal online portfolio. Or a general online portfolio.

You'll also notice that the 2006 gallery is gone. I had to get rid of those with the transition of this site's function from fun artsite to part-time portfolio. Those drawings are too old to even consider looking at, anymore. I can understand when it's interesting to look at old art to see how an artist has improved, and I was fine with it. I'm sort of sad that those had to be removed, too. But we gotta consider that potential employers will be looking through here, and I'm sure they don't want to see some old art made by the artist when they were 10 years old.

Anyways, I'll be updating again sometime soon. After that, everything should fall back to schedule. Or... not. I don't know. College likes to play tricks on me.

Holy Fudge! College sure can zap up your time!

Well, at least I haven't forgotten about this place. I just recently re-did the entire Commissions site, and have yet to post some new work in my gallery. You won't believe how much I've learned in a few months! It's like books are being shoved into my tiny brain, and it's fit to burst at any moment. Too bad I forget things easily...

I seriously need to draw something for myself to keep me sane. Also, I need to add some bits to my galleries. Mostly sketches and concept sheets. There's this one of a bus I definetely want to post.

Hopefully things should get rolling again, once I work out my time with the college monster.

July 12, 2009-

I seriously need to make some more icons for each (almost) monthly post. Reusing the old ones isn't the best thing to do (although I'm enjoying this one I'm using again).

Anyways, got settled at my aunt's, managed to get myself into the Art Institute I had my eyes set on, but my portfolio got rejected. So I will have to start at the Graphics Design program instead of the Media Arts and Animation program that I wanted to get into. It's not all bad, I heard that most new MAA students start out with the Graphics Design program. Other than that, I'm doing alright so far. Classes start tomorrow, so I hope everything goes alright. Although I guarantee that they'll be having me running ragged for expensive books that I'll only be using once. I think the instructors get a kick out of it.

The only other thing I've gotta worry about is transportation. I was left with my dad's old van, which was practically falling apart when he got it about a year back. They've managed to get it fixed about a million times and running good before I was left with it, but the cooling system was the only thing not working properly. I currently don't have the poor old thing with me. It's with one of my uncles who promised my dad he'd take care of expenses for getting it fixed. It's been in the shop for about a week now, and they're still having trouble finding a good way to fix the cooling system. They were going to have to rebuild most of the van to fix it, but it would be pretty pricey, so they're trying to find a less expensive solution. Hopefully, I'll have the van back by Tuesday or Wednsday the latest.

Well, that's all I've got to share. Until next month, see ya!

June 8, 2009-

Hey hey, look what's changed. I've fixed up the pages and the galleries yet again, and they look better than ever. The art gallery looks more like... well, an art gallery, eh?

Sometimes I wish I knew more about coding so I can add a whole bunch of fancy features to this site. But we're just starting, so no need to rush. It sure was a lot of work though, so I'll be glad to finally get back to drawing on good old paper. I need to work on textures, and I was iching to finally get to that. Unfortunately, I will probably get a lot of interruptions, since I'm finally moving out of the house. I'll be staying with an aunt of mine until I can get an apartment. Until then, I'll need to see what I can bring, and figure other things out.

Speaking of figuring things out, I'm going to try and get a comic started soon so the Comic List won't be so empty. The Guide Book will still be empty for quite awhile, until I can find more time to write out and organize all the info needed. Besides, that section is for when you come across something in my stories you don't understand, and... well, I have no stories out yet. But hopefully I will get some going. Not soon, but I will work on them. My brain's full of stories.

And now to close things off, I decided to get rid of the scrollbox I had before. I felt that working with one scroll was enough, why add another one? I'll just keep all of the entries like this, and start storing the older ones once this page reaches its limit. Oh! Also, I added some entries in the F.A.Q. section, to make things clear about basic things. I don't think I've covered everything, so feel free to throw in any question you have, and I'll take a look at them.

Anyways, have a lovely month of June. I'm out.

P.S.- That sidebar on the right looks kind of empty, but it'll be filled over time. I wonder if I should start offering advertising space...?
